When we join forces, our message gains momentum.<\/p>\n<p>We organise seminars and special events (including the Tobacco-free Finland Day), prepare statements, commentaries, initiatives and releases and bring out the positives of non-smoking in other ways. Through our operations, we support the objective of the Tobacco Act: to end the use of tobacco and nicotine products by the year 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Less than five per cent of the working-age population will consume tobacco and other non-medical nicotine products.<\/p>\n<h2>Our strategic views 2023\u20132025:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Emphasize the benefits of being nicotine-free also in achieving the goals of sustainable development.<\/li>\n<li>Emphasize the enhancement and accessibility of tobacco and nicotine product cessation services, as well as the health and economic benefits derived from them.<\/li>\n<li>Promote proactive regulation of new tobacco and nicotine products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Year 2025:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>We support implementing the proposals of the tobacco and nicotine policy development working group, in particular\n<ul>\n<li>raising the age limit for the purchase of tobacco and nicotine products to 20 years<\/li>\n<li>highlighting the importance of preventing young people from starting to use nicotine products and promoting nicotine-free environments<\/li>\n<li>restricting the sales locations and marketing of tobacco and nicotine products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>We advocate that high-quality nicotine addiction treatment, also for young people, becomes an integral and easily accessible part of the services provided by wellbeing areas.<\/li>\n<li>We advocate that new products are proactively taken into account when developing tobacco and nicotine policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Tobacco-free Finland 2030
